About Jocelyn Nato

Jocelyn is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive urgent care, pain management and primary care to patients of all ages. She provides general and preventative care, conducts check ups, treats illnesses, order lab tests, prescribes medications for children and adults, and performs in- office pain assessments and minimally invasive pain interventions.

Jocelyn graduated from Lyceum Northwestern University, Philippines in 2009 with Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She has more than 9 years of bedside nursing experiences. She worked for Lake Mead Rehab and Kindred Flamingo Hospital as a Registered Nurse for 3 years. In 2013, she decided to make a professional move to acute care setting. She worked for North vista Hospital for 6 years as emergency and ICU nurse. Prior working to emergency and ICU, she worked as medical surgical staff nurse for a year at the same hospital. She resigned at NVH and worked for Southern Hills Hospital in 2017 as per diem oncology nurse when she started in nurse practitioner program. She obtained her Masters of Nursing at Maryville University on May 2019. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also board in critical care (CCRN). She is a current member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Thetu Tu International Honor Society.

Jocelyn’s experiences as a bedside nurse, critical care nurse and nurse educator have all shaped her practice to work with families and teach them about maximizing their health. Her goal is to provide patient and family – centered advanced practice care.
