Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
Vital member of the surgical team: sterile field, instrumentation, anticipation during procedures, and room turnover.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES); Associate’s degree often preferred
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
- Current Nevada State registration
- Current BLS/CPR
- Experience: entry-level (0–2 years) through senior/lead (5+ years)
Pre-operative preparation
- Set up the sterile field per surgeon preference cards; verify sterilization indicators and packaging
- Assist with patient positioning and draping to maintain the sterile boundary
Intra-operative
- Anticipate surgeon needs; pass instruments, sutures, and sponges accurately
- Maintain sterile technique; address breaks immediately
- Prepare and label specimens; perform sponge/needle/instrument counts with circulator
Post-operative & maintenance
- Terminal cleaning and instrument prep for decontamination
- Support quick room turnover; restock supplies and report equipment issues
- Continuing education as needed to maintain certification
Skills & physical demands
- Precision with delicate instrumentation; stamina for 8–12 hour cases (including lead aprons)
- Ability to assist with lifting/moving patients (up to ~50 lbs)
- Calm under pressure; strong communication with the surgical team

Medical Biller
Own the revenue cycle: claims, clearinghouse edits, payment posting, denials, appeals, and patient financial questions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; Associate in healthcare admin or finance preferred
- CPB or CBCS certification strongly preferred
- 1–3 years in medical office, billing, or payer environment
- Comfort with EHR/EMR (e.g. eClinicalWorks)
- Solid grasp of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, HIPAA, and fair debt collection practices
Claim lifecycle
- Build and transmit electronic/paper claims; fix scrubber/rejection issues
- Post ERAs and patient payments accurately
A/R & denials
- Interpret EOBs; research denials and submit appeals with documentation
- Work aging reports for timely follow-up
Patient financial services
- Verify eligibility and prior authorizations when required
- Patient statements, billing questions, and payment arrangements

Call Center Representative
Primary telecommunications hub: high-volume call handling, routing, paging, and confidentiality in a medical setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year in a high-volume call center
- Multi-line phone systems and directory tools (e.g. Amtelco); Microsoft Outlook
- 35–45+ WPM typing with high accuracy
- Basic medical terminology and HIPAA awareness
Call routing & triage
- Answer and direct high call volume with professional etiquette
- Screen and triage calls appropriately; protect patient privacy at all times

Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Advanced practice provider: assessments, diagnostics, prescribing, procedures within scope, and chronic disease management.
Requirements
- MSN or DNP from an accredited program
- Current RN and APRN licensure in Nevada
- National certification (e.g. AANP/ANCC) in specialty such as FNP, AGACNP, PMHNP
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- 2+ years RN experience preferred; NP experience a plus
- Current BLS and ACLS
Assessment & diagnosis
- Comprehensive exams and histories; order/interpret diagnostics as appropriate
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Treatment & coordination
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies; minor procedures per specialty
- Referrals and follow-up; adjust long-term care plans
Education & documentation
- Preventive counseling and health coaching
- Timely, compliant EHR documentation

Medical Assistant (MA)
Clinical and administrative liaison: vitals, intake, procedures, labs, scheduling, and patient communication.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and accredited MA program (certificate or Associate’s)
- CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) strongly preferred
- 0–2 years’ experience; new grads with externship considered
- EHR and basic computer skills; current BLS
- Stamina for long standing periods; assist with lifting/positioning patients
Clinical (“back office”)
- Vitals and intake documentation; chief complaint, meds, history
- Assist with minor procedures, splinting, and specialty exams as trained
- Point-of-care tests, phlebotomy, EKGs; injections/immunizations per provider and state law
Administrative (“front office”)
- Patient flow and schedule management
- Stock and maintain exam rooms; referrals and refill coordination per protocol
- Patient callbacks for labs/results when authorized
